ORDER
COMPLAINANT NO. 2458

In the matter of Chairman G.L.C.
and Leeland Playfair, Attorney-­at-law

AND

In the matter of the Legal Profession Act

UPON THE APPLICATION dated 2nd December, 1993 made under the section 12 (1) (A) of the Legal Profession Act coming on before the Disciplinary Committee at the hearing held on the 25th Day of February, 1995 with Col. H. St. C. Whitehorne as Chairman together with Mr. Dan Kelly and Mr. Crafton Miller.

AND UPON the Attorney-at-law Leeland Playfair appearing

AND UPON the Complainant Chairman of the General Legal Council being present and giving evidence on oath

AND UPON DUE CONSIDERATION of the evidence

THE COMMITTEE FOUND Attorney-at-law Leeland Playfair guilty of misconduct in a professional respect.

PURSUANT OF THE FOREGOING FINDINGS, THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY HEREBY ORDER THAT:

  1. Attorney-at-law Leeland Playfair be severely Reprimanded and pay costs of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00).
