Justice Nicole Foster-Pusey graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 1992.
Admitted to practice in 1993, Justice Foster-Pusey practiced at both the private and public bar, and has acted as a resident magistrate.
She started her professional career in the Attorney General’s Chambers in 1993, and by 2008 had served at different times as Director of the Litigation, Commercial and Constitutional, Legislative and Law Reform divisions of the Chambers.
In 2008, she resigned from the public service to go into private practice. After a successful stint in private practice, she returned to the public service in August 2012, and served as Jamaica’s first female Solicitor General.
In January 2019, Justice Foster-Pusey was appointed a Judge of the Court of Appeal. She is the Chief Justice’s nominee on the Council.
